thebay.news is a news page for the San Francisco Bay Area tech community — the reading half of thebay.events.

Anyone anywhere can read it. Posting, commenting and voting are open to people physically in the Bay, because a local paper should be written by locals.

The front page defaults to our stories. Hacker News, Lobsters and a set of feeds are aggregated alongside and clearly marked — we link to the original article and credit their discussion, never copy it.
