Is learning Rust a good idea for me?

I have a passion for computer science, and I love problem-solving. The thing is, all I've done, programming-wise, is a mediocre amount of Python and very little JS. I sometimes hear I should dive headfirst into Rust, but I also hear people say it is a requirement to learn other languages beforehand. Any advice on where to start or what to do?
