San Jose airport plans sensory room for neurodivergent children
The stress and anxiety from crowded queues and unfamiliar sights and sounds at the airport can be even more pronounced for children with autism or other sensory sensitivities. San Jose Mineta International Airport will soon be opening a room specially designed to provide these young travelers with a place to calm frayed nerves.
