Use of rust manager cargo on windows 11 pro

Trying to install cargo-binstall using cargo on windows but have hit a snag, wondering if there is a simple workaround. The windows environmental variable CC has the value: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\2022\Community\VC\Tools\MSVC\14.42.34433\bin\Hostx64\x64\cl.exe Note the spaces between Program and Files and either side of Visual and they are the problem.
