Error while installing Juila packages on windows

I am installing julia packages on my windows machine and i am getting errros that go like this → *.dll is either not designed to run on windows or contains an error. Try installing again using original installation media or contact system admin or software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0e90002. I got this error earlier as well when i was trying to install older version of julia by an exe installer. Any idea on what to do??
