Pycharm python emulating terminal in output console

Hi, I’m trying to format text output from python using VT100 commands. If I enable ‘Emulate terminal in output console’ (to allow program exit usig ctrl-C) the VT100 commands aren’t executed: i.e print(‘/033[95mA text string’) should result in ‘A text string’ being displayed in green With the ‘Emulate terminal in output console’, I get: ‘<-[95mA text string’ Is what I am trying to do a bad idea OR is this a bug? Thanks
