Asus rog-control-center: the asus armoury driver is not loaded

I installed asusctl and in rog-control-center it says “The asus-armoury driver is not loaded. For advanced features you will require a kernel with this driver loaded.” I looked up about the driver on nixos but didn’t find anything, other than using alternative kernels, but I read somewhere that nixos doesn’t ship vendor specific kernels.
