New Bill Ending Child Marriage In California Moves Closer to Approval

A state bill authored by San Jose Assemblymember Gail Pellerin that would set California’s minimum legal marriage age at 18 with no exceptions is awaiting final approval from the State Assembly and Gov. Gavin Newsom.
