UC Berkeley announces new professional graduate degree in AI and machine learning

UC Berkeley will offer a Master of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning – a new graduate professional degree program for STEM graduates – starting in fall 2027, with applications opening Sept. 24, 2026. The Master of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (MAIML) is a full-time degree program taken over two semesters in person at the Berkeley campus.
