Sapporo Plans 200 Stone Brewing Layoffs After Selling Brand to Firestone Walker

After selling Stone Brewing Co. in April, Sapporo is preparing to cut more than 200 employees, with the first 58 workers expected to be laid off in October as the company permanently closes Stone’s longtime Escondido headquarters.
