Menlo Park overhauls license plate reader sharing after discovering more improper searches

Amid a wave of scrutiny over automated license plate readers across the Bay Area, the Menlo Park Police Department is tightening controls on its camera data after finding that outside agencies improperly searched the system for the second time in roughly a year.
