Pypi deprecating things that don't need to be deprecated?

Hi. I noticed today that my bloom-filter module on pypi ( bloom-filter · PyPI ) includes the following text at the top: Note: This project has gone unmaintained for a while, please use the more up-to-date project at: - GitHub - remram44/python-bloom-filter: Bloom filter for Python · GitHub - bloom-filter2 · PyPI It’s not unmaintained at all. I use it every day with great results. What happened? Why does it say that? Why didn’t someone try to contact me before deprecating it? Thanks.
