What I learned merging seven public datasets to train a single-class shelf detector

How I built a 11,667-image training set from seven Roboflow datasets under a CC BY 4.0 licence filter, fine-tuned YOLO11n on Apple MPS at zero cloud cost, and hit mAP50 0.844 on held-out test data.
