Sold but true: Lars Ulrich’s Bay Area real estate sales just drummed up $84 million

The Metallica drummer has been busy, selling the SF compound he bought from Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff for a combined $68M, and Marin acreage he has owned for 25 years for another $16M. The 160-acre property near Kentfield is due to become a public park, while the buyer on the off-market San Francisco sales is still unknown.
