Guest Opinion: Meta’s settlement money won’t save a single Palo Alto kid

One in five Palo Alto teenagers reports chronic feelings of sadness or hopelessness. One in ten has seriously considered suicide in the past year. Those numbers come from the Jed Foundation's (JED) newly released findings report, commissioned by Palo Alto and built on focus groups with 53 local youth, listening sessions with 74 community stakeholders, and Panorama survey data from more than 5,000 students in our schools.
