Installing a 3rd party .run file fails due to missing libkernel32.so
I’m trying to install e² studio from renesas. It’s an eclipse bases IDE for renesas embedded C/C++ develeopment. If you are wondering, the C IDE is not what I’m interested in, but the builtin tools to map the controller’s pins and auto generate driver code. It is offered as a .run file for linux, but only ubuntu is supported officially. When running it on my nixos system the installer briefly shows a splashscreen before crashing.
