Probe launched after officer fires Taser, injures man at Stanford mall

A Palo Alto police officer fired a Taser at a man who was reportedly trespassing at Stanford Shopping Center in July, injuring the man and triggering an investigation by the city's independent auditor, according to the Palo Alto Police Department.
