Turning Claude Code into a Writing Harness with Claude Mods and an Output Style

Even in my writing repository, Claude Code showed Claude a skill listing grown for code: 98 skills, 26,252 characters. A Claude Mod (harness-scope) now chooses per repository what Claude sees, cutting it to 49 skills and 15,242 characters, and an output style sets how Claude talks with me. Measured on Claude Code 2.1.287 and 2.1.288, including what keep-coding-instructions: false removes on Claude 4 versus Claude 5 models.
