Diarizing a 62-minute lecture took 32 minutes for the first half and then hit the run timeout with an empty dataset. Rebuilt around voice activity detection it finished the whole file in 7 minutes and 8x less compute. Plus why speakerCount said 7 for a one-man lecture.
