How do I add x402 payments to an Express / Next.js API?

Express uses paymentMiddleware from @x402/express; Next.js uses paymentProxy or withX402 (settles only after status < 400). Grounded in the official quickstart and a local Express 402 smoke test (15 Oct 2026).
