A jsonb column the browser fills in, so every array in its schema has a max

Postgres will store whatever you hand a jsonb column. The validator in front of ours bounds every array and every string, derives those bounds from the content rather than rounding them, and deliberately refuses to check the one thing it cannot check at write time.
