I built Linux support for the Thermaltake ST360 Ultra LCD — mirroring, sensor HUD and saved animations
I’ve published st360-lcd-linux, a Linux tool for the 7-inch 1024×600 LCD on the Thermaltake ST360 Ultra ARGB Sync. It supports desktop mirroring, brightness and rotation controls, and saving standby images/videos and boot animations directly to the panel. There’s also a PyQt6 app with a media library and draggable hardware-monitor widgets. Source, build instructions and protocol documentation: https://gitlab.com/vangel3/st360-lcd-linux [https://gitlab.com/vangel3/st360-lcd-linux] It’s GPL-3.0-or-later, with build instructions for common distros and a Nix flake. So far, I’ve tested one ST360 on Wayland. Other Thermaltake LCDs aren’t confirmed, and X11 capture hasn’t been tested. Protocol framing builds on Minecube Studio’s work, credited in the repo. If you own this model, I’d appreciate testing reports and feedback—especially on installation and the sensor HUD.
