Nix command doesn't work after `flake update`, "version `GLIBC_2.43' not found"

Today after running nix flake update (on nixos-26.05) on a previously working system, my nix command no longer works, saying: /run/current-system/sw/bin/nix: /nix/store/fsd4vbp9zjd9iaicq2fb9lpc1h5j973y-glibc-2.42-100/lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.43' not found (required by /nix/store/p9i1b7jgfj4fl5bx557jnwbdsafl434i-curl-8.22.0/lib/libcurl.so.4) I tried to flake update a week or two ago as well and it did the same thing.
