Predicting LUKS IDs

I am about to encrypt my root partition to be luks encrypted, but I need the uuid beforehand, any way I can get it? It would be so much easier if I can edit my configs and boot stuff before I luks encrypt my drive (like the hardware config). Saves me having to boot into a nixos iso, running a rebuild tool there and all of that stuff.
