Four regions, three flags, and a no-emoji rule that cannot see a single one of them

Our app asks where you are, offers four answers and none of them is a country. The whole effect is one sentence of disclosure wording, a second thing called region picks your currency, and the three flag emoji in the repo slip past the pattern that bans emoji.
