ZLS not giving errors with check step

I asked a similar question a while ago, this is tangential to that. This time I have a basic project with zig init, and in the build.zig I’ve added this: const check_step = b.step("check", "Check the app"); const libmod = b.addLibrary(.{ .root_module = mod, .name = "libmod", .linkage = .static, }); check_step.dependOn(&exe.step); check_step.dependOn(&libmod.step); This gives me error reports in root.zig but not in any other files I make.
